Pumpkin Patch

Last Friday we all went to Country Fun Farms to celebrate Emma's very first Progress Report. She received "Satisfactory" on everything that the teacher tested. Mommy and Daddy were very proud of her! The farm was lots of fun. There was a bouncy pit, a pumpkin cannon, duck races, pig races, horse swings, barn swings, a zip line, a hay ride, a pumpkin patch and a corn maze. We all had a really good time, but by the time we made it to the corn maze it was dark and the haunted maze had begun. Even though we weren't in the haunted section, we could hear the screams and moans, and Emma wanted nothing to do with the corn maze. Too bad, because it was in the shape of the Vexcon logo (if you don't know, that is Billy the Exterminator's logo!). We made lots of great memories and hope to go back next year.

Wrapped Around Her Fingers ....

Emma has all of the men in her life wrapped around her fingers....some of them simply have better fingers than others! But she loves each and every one of them VERY much!

Emma's First Day of Pre K

Emma began Pre K at St. John Berchmans Catholic School today, September 13, 2010. She was very excited and couldn't wait to meet her classmates. Her teacher, Mrs. McCaa is very nice - Emma seems to like her. Her classmates were very sweet and welcomed her into the class. She has her own locker in the back of the class and her chair has a schoolbus name plate on it. Emma has not had very many playdates this summer and has really missed playing with kids her age. She was happy as a clam when I walked out the door!

On The Road Again

On September 7, 2010 Emma, Fallon and I began our road trip to our new home in Louisiana. We drove from Atlanta to Brandon, MS on Tuesday. Wednesday we finished our journey, and arrived in Shreveport, LA around lunchtime. We already miss our Georgia and Florida family and friends, but are looking forward to all living under one roof!

Augusta Southern Nationals Boat Races

We took Emma to the Augusta Southern National Boat Races with Kim, Joe, Dawson and Davis in August. Joe works on the boat Speed Sport driven by John Haas. We had a great time hanging out with good friends, and Speed Sport won the races that weekend. Unfortunately, John Haas was killed in a race 2 weeks later. He was a very nice guy and an excellent driver. We were privileged to meet him.
