Wakulla Springs Boat Ride

Emma & I went to Wakulla Spring State Park today to go on a glass bottom boat ride. Unfortunately, the water was too dark due to all the rain, so no glass bottom. But we did get to go on a took the river ride instead. We saw several alligators, some turtles and lots of different birds! We had a great time and can't wait to take Daddy and maybe go swimming in that COLD water!

St. George Island Mullet Toss

Robb, Emma & I went to St. George Island on June 13th for the Annual Mullet Toss. The beach was great, the water was warm and the fish were flyin'! Emma was awesome ... not even afraid to touch a stinky ol' dead fish! She gave it her best and threw 2 fish. Her farthest throw was over 7'. Robb also took a turn and made it over 78'! What a family memory!

Gwinnett Braves Minor League Game

We had a great time at the Gwinnett Braves game over the Memorial Day Weekend! We even got to see Glavin pitch right before he got traded!

Emma's 3rd Birthday

Emma had a Disney Princess Party for her 3rd birthday this year. We had a pink Princess bouncy house complete with slide and ball pit and a bubble machine. Lots of Emma's friends came to help celebrate: Kaitlyn, Madison, and Andrew (from Superkids), Raegan Boyles, Will Brannen and Riley Callaway. They all had tons of fun playing in the bouncy house, making punch goblets, helping open presents, eating cheese and fruit and of course, cake and ice cream!

Emma's Spring Dance Recital

Emma had a great time dancing this year! She totally cracked everyone up with her antics on stage .... picking up trash and handing it to Nana, holding on to the curtain so she wouldn't fall over, walking across the stage during the middle of the performance, and totally doing her own thing most of the time! She had quite the entourage at this recital: Mommy, Daddy, MaMaw, PaPaw, Nana, PopPop, Uncle Sean, Aunt Catherine, Uncle Rita, Aunt Jodi, Uncle Raleigh, Aunt Jessica, Aunt Georgi and her Garrett! We can't wait for next year!

Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear

This was Robb's favorite book as a child and now it is the first book that Emma can "read" by herself!

Spring Break

We had a good, if busy, Spring Break this year. We spent the first weekend of break with MaMaw and PaPaw in Statesboro. We didn't do much but enjoy the weekend. Then Emma, Robb and I spent Sunday night through Friday in Tallahassee. Robb had to work, so Emma and I just hung out, did a little shopping and spent an afternoon at the Tallahassee museum. Then we all spent Easter weekend on Amelia Island with Nana, PopPop, Uncle Sean, Aunt Catherine, Grandma and Papa. Sunday Emma got to have an egg hunt with her cousins, Kayla, Noah and Ashlyn. Lots of fun!

I did it!

I made my first dress! I have sewn lots of little things, like pillows and purses, but today I completed a dress for Emma. It is not perfect ... the hem on the arm and neck holes could use some work and the belt seams don't quite match the dress seams, but not bad for my first attempt if I do say so myself!

Looks pretty good, huh. I'll let you know tomorrow if it fits!?!

A Day at the Park

Last weekend, Emma, Robb, Nana, Pop-Pop and I spent a great afternoon at Mission San Luis in Tally. They have some beautiful hiking trails, a fenced in dog park and a nice play ground. Great weather and great company make for a great outing!

Puppy Dogs and Ice Cream Cheeks

Emma and I took Fallon for a walk yesterday and decided to stop by Mill Creek Elementary where they were having their Spring Carnival. Emma had lots of fun "fishing" for prizes, reaching in the Croc pond, throwing balls at milk jugs and playing ring toss. She even got to ride a train and get her face painted.

This morning Fallon was WILD! She jumped and she bouced and she ran around like a crazy dog! Emma pulled out "Senior Bean" and had a great game of tug-of-war with the pup!

Our Newest Member

We have a new addition to the family .... Fallon, the English Springer Spaniel. She is 12 weeks old today! She is super sweet and loves to cuddle! We can't wait for everyone to meet her! Enjoy a few pictures of her until then. I also put up a few pics of Emma and Daddy on our trip to River Street last Saturday.

Our First Born

Georgia Clay, Clay Doggie, Sweet Girl, Pup, Pooper .... she goes by many names, but none of them adequately explain the love Robb and I feel for her. We have had her longer than we have been married. That's right, don't tell her, but she was born out of wedlock! :) But she is just as much a part of our family as Emma is. Robb gave to me as a Valentine's Day present, but from the very first Slim Jim they shared in the car on the way home she has been Robb's dog 100%. I know she loves me, and like most kids, she wants Mama when she needs something (like going outside at 3:00 in the morning). But she and Robb will always be best buds!

Our Little Mermaid!

Emma has always loved taking her bath, but lately she has gotten pretty brave about it. She is definately a water baby .... oh, sorry. A water "Big Girl!"

Adventures at the Museum

On my weekend of freedom, Emma got to spend the afternoon at a children's museum with MaMaw and PaPaw. As you can see, she had a blast.
