Adventures at the Museum

On my weekend of freedom, Emma got to spend the afternoon at a children's museum with MaMaw and PaPaw. As you can see, she had a blast.

Sleeping Beauty

We have been seriously blessed with a child that LOVES to sleep. Emma has been a great sleeper from the beginning, but tonight was just too cute! While most children insist on a certain teddy bear or a special blanket, Emma likes to fall asleep with books. Tonight, however, she fell asleep under a book! So, does learning through osmosis really work?

Bedtime Prayers

Every night at bed time, Robb, Emma and I go into her room and say prayers together. Even now that Robb is in Tally, we call him and say prayers together over the phone. For so long, that ritual consisted of Robb and I saying prayers and trying to get Emma to sit still with her hands folded. Eventually, she began to say a word here and another there. Now, our little girl is proving that she is "bigger and stronger" as she would say. Check out the video below .... how sweet is that?

I Love You, Daddy

These are a few picture I took at the Tallahassee Museum earlier this month..... before my camera batteries died! We had a great time and can't wait to go back to visit all the wonderful animals!
Daddy, the video at the end is especially for you!

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

Emma had a GREAT Christmas this year! Of course, it is hard not to when you are an only child and an only Grandchild. She had so many presents, we had to bribe her with M&M's to get her to open the last of her presents! But she always seemed to be having the most fun when she was playing with her grandparents. We spent 5 days in Jacksonville with Nana & PopPop. We also got to see Uncle Sean, Aunt Catherine and Great Grandma & Papa Music. Then we came back to Statesboro to spend 4 days with Mamaw and Papaw. We also spent time with Uncle Seth, Uncle Rita, & Aunt Jodi. After all that excitement, Emma, Robb and I spent the next week by ourselves in Tallahassee.
Rita and Jodi spent New Year's Eve with us .... a nice, lazy evening at home watching TV and playing 30 Seconds .... so much fun. We all watched the Georgia game on TV New Year's Day, and then the 3 of us drove around looking at Christmas lights. We had a great time ... the perfect beginning to a New Year!
